	Track Editor: Function Panel


SUMMARY

	This part of the documentation explains the purpose and use of the
Function Panel. The Track Editor Function Panel offers many cue modifiers for
use with the Track Matrix.


DESCRIPTION

	The Function Panel in the Track Editor section can be raised with either
the menu key on the keyboard, the middle mouse button (if present) or the toggle
Panel button on the Side Bar, the Panel itself consists of a grid of icons which
can be pressed and are normally subdivided into groups by the type of their
action and what they change. Some operations of the individual icons can also
process a selection of items.

	The following information is presented as a key image and a list of row
to column identifiers each with a function description;

            

		A0		Change the current Instrument
		A1-A7		Instrument identifier and summary
		A8-A9		Change the current cue Function
		A10-A11		Change the current cue Instrument or Effect
		A12-A13		Change the current cue note or parameter C
		A14-A15		Change the current cue velocity or parameter D

		B0-C0   (upper)	Change the current octave
		C0-D0	(lower)	Change the current velocity

		B8		Cut the selected cues
		B9		Copy the selected cues
		B10		Paste the selected cues
		B11		Clear the selected cues
		B12		Decrement the function of the selected cues
		B13		Increment the function of the selected cues
		B14		Decrement the Instrument of the selected cues
		B15		Increment the Instrument of the selected cues

		C8		Cut a track
		C9		Copy a track
		C10		Paste a track
		C11		Clear a track
		C12		Decrement the note of the selected cues
		C13		Increment the note of the selected cues
		C14		Decrement the velocity of selected cues
		C15		Increment the velocity of selected cues

		D8		Remove a track
		D9		Insert a track
		D10		Set the start and end markers of a track loop
		D11		Chop the current or selected cues
		D12		Flip the selected cues upside down
		D13		Rotate the selected cues upward anti-clockwise
		D14		Rotate the selected cues downward clockwise
		D15		Deselect the currently selected cues
